Also, does having a light period with NO clots mean a woman might miscarry if she gets pregnant because the uterus lining ain't enough to hold a baby?

  1. Not necessarily.  Before my first pregnancy, I always had really light periods  Like two days long, hardly any bleeding.

I got pregnant the first month we tried, and had a very normal healthy pregnancy.

Since deliver (now 2 1/2 years ago), I've had HEAVY (five day long-change the pad and tampon every hour for the first three days heavy) periods, and it took us 1 1/2 years to conceive).

Each woman/cycle is different.  The body builds up the lining it knows it will need to support the egg it has produced.

  2. it all has to do with hormones and your weight.  If you are under weight more lighter of a period.  Talk to your DR if you are trying to get pregnant and calculate your periods.
