  1. It is not one of the requirements but it will help you with promotion.


  2. Nope. You still have to go through the same process as everyone else. Whether or not you are selected and make it through the Q has nothing to do with how much education you have.  

  3. it can be in the sense that it will help in putting you in as a higher rank than just an E-1. So say you come in as an E-3 (the highest you can start as) you could be already at the minimum required rank for certain special forces groups.  

  4. I attended SFAS and the SFQC in 1990.  

    While having college credit is not a requirement for SF, it certainly is a bonus when the selection board looks at your record during SFAS.  SF is looking for the mature, siclly fit candidate which can be seen by having college credits...  

  5. Unless your College credits are in covert operations, marksmanship, SERE, Airborne operations, SCUBA, jungle, desert, urban, mountain  warfare, martial arts, weapons,101 ways to terminate the enemy, emergency medicine & foreign languages, then I say YES!
