  1. I have this problem and, yes, it does affect my depth perception.

    During the day it's not a problem because there are objects between me and the object I'm looking at that help me gauge distance. At night, however, I'm at a definite disadvantage. Before they took my drivers license away my ex-wife frequently teased me about how long I would wait at stop signs for cross traffic. What else are you going to do if you're not sure the approaching car is far enough away?
