Can hearing impaired musicians use ear monitors?

can hearing impaired people who decide to become to a musician use ear monitors & does it depend on your range?

(NOT musicians turned hearing impaired.)

Yes they can.  As others have said it depends on how hearing impaired you are.  If the musician has a hearing aid that can use a T-coil you can just plug the coil directly into the personal monitor and use that to feed your hearing aid.  There is also the possibility that with using headphones with an in ear monitor you could use the stereo function and have vocals go to one ear and instruments to the other.  Because it is such a personal preference the best thing to do would be to just try different things.  But it is definitly a possibility.
