Can heat travels through vacuum?

"Heat" cannot travel in a vacuum but there are ways it can be transmitted. Heat is really just the force with which the particles in an object vibrate and collide with each other. Since there are no particles in a vacuum, heat does not really exist in a vacuum. Energy can be transmitted through a vacuum however by way of electromagnetic radiation. An object can emit this radiation and other objects can absorb it and become hotter because the force of its particles collisions are higher.
