I believe it would depend on the school.

Also, it depends on where you actually get your diploma from. Not sure if schools issue them unless a student actually attends their classes, so you'd get one from the state.

If you are homeschooling through the school district, probably so. If you are homeschooling independently, probably not. But you can look for a state or local group that's organizing a homeschool graduation that you can participate in. Our county has one, as well as the statewide homeschool convention.

No, 'cause you don't go to school with them. And it would probally be really embarrassing, marching with people you don't know.

Not at our public school.

We do have a state homeschool conference that has graduation ceremonies with about 200 graduates who choose to participate in the ceremony.  

We will probably choose to have a private individualized ceremony for our son.

No, because home schools are not a credited school recognized by the government. I was home schooled and I wanted to graduate with the local high school and I was told no because home schools are not a credited school. I also had to take my G.E.D before I was excepted into college even though I did graduate all for the same reason.

No, you graduate with your class.  You have to attend the school.
