Can horses eat honey?

I want to make cookies for our horses and i don't know if they can eat honey, so can they?

Yes horses can eat honey.  I have included a link to a horse treat recipe   However I have always found that the thing most horses like best is just carrot chunks dipped in honey.

i wouldn't, if the horse doesn't like it they have no way of throwing up and they could go lame...be careful giving horses things ur not so sure about.

yeah. Its a good substitute for something sweet when horses are on a diet.

Yes. Honey is used as a flavoring agent in some types of feed, in fact, as is molasses. As long as it isn't used in excess, it's perfectly safe.

Honey is healthier than molasis,you can also put honey on wounds cuts no matter how severe they are.HONEY IS GOOD.
