Can horses provide their owners with exercise and companionship?

I was wondering if a horse can provide thier owners with exercise and companionship? Please just answer True or Fasle.

  2. Umm, DUH, of course it's true. what else would you get horse for?

    Quarter horses are the best for companionship: they are quieter, intelligent (most of the time) and oen of the most kind breeds of horse there is. They were originally bred fro a quarter mile race (the breeder's cup, I believe...not really sure which one), but now make a very good friend. they are also relatively common, making them more inexpensive than other breeds.

    Before I actually started riding, I found I was over weight and not very happy with myself, I'm not very social, I have a few good friends, so it wasn't too great, but now that i am riding more and more, I've shed a lot of weight, and I always get a workout when I ride, and my horse always is there for me.

    My horse is the only person i can talk to some times and getting out there and doing stuff with her is definitely exercise.
