Can horus the black flame dragon lv8 negate cards that i choose?

heres the exact definition:

this card cannot be normal summoned or set this card cannot be special summmoned(typo on the real card)exept by the effect of horus the black flame dragon lv6 as long as this card remains face up on your side of the feild you CAN(as in choose to negate) negate the activation and effect of any spell card and destroy them.

so can you choose which spell cards to negate with him or does he negate all. i reelly need to know it will help me with my strategys.

yes you choose what to negate. Thinking about it if you could make a fast horus deck then you'd have a deck that counters the current format somewhat. think about it, Dark decks dont run the useual threats to Horus. ie exile or DD warriors. and they do rely a LOT on spells which u have covered. u hardly have to fear traps. There isnt many monsters in this meta bar DAD and Van someit or another to fear and both of those rely a lot on spells to function well. hope this has help'd

Yeah u actually can!!! not only can u choose what spell cards u want to negate but if u really wanna u can negate ur own spells as well!!! this is a plus especially if u wanna run a chain deck, simply use spell cards and negate em and u can easily make a chain. also when it comes to deck fyi. a nice combo is royal decree/jinzo and horus lvl 8. so no spells and no traps!!!
