  2. No.  All members of Amphibia are descendants of a common ancestor not shared with mammals.  The class is a result of descent, and that ancestry is the only valid membership card.

    Humans are mammals. We have hair, we maintain our own temperature, we produce milk.

    Amphibians breathe through their skin, do not maintain their own body temperature, and go through a process of metamorphosis – from tadpole to adult form.

    I don't care how much a human sperm resembles a tadpole, you are NOT going to turn into a frog when you grow up.
