  1. Humans could eat NEARLY anything that wasn't poisonous.

But what do you mean, if we needed too?

  2. Yes, each of those can be eaten. However, there are reasons why certain animals are eaten and certain animals aren't. For example, a wolf, bear, tiger and leopard are primarily carnivores; their meat isn't going to be nearly as delectible as the herbivorous cow or omnivorous chicken or pig. Other animals, like the gorilla, have very tough meat supposedly, that isn't that good for eating.

And, to use some animals off your list, there are a lot of animals we don't eat because, while it probably isn't dangerous, it probably isn't wise to either. For example, carp (the fish) will eat anything, and their meat tastes pretty bad, and you just don't know what they've eaten, so their meat is questionable. And other animals, especially birds of prey that live around the water, eat a lot of fish, so their meat tastes very fishy.

So, anyway, yes, most animals are open to our consumption, with the exception of a few that have poisonous regions on them, and those that have questionable diets...

  3. yh we can eat all of them but we dont because

    1) Not a dish well where im from they are similar to dogs and thats seen as wrong to many

    2) We would put them to extinction and they are a great species

    3) same as 2)

    4) same as 2)

    5) This is a moral issue as they are close in species terms to ourselves kill them and skin them they wont look much different than a human body and also they are on the verge of extinction

but we can eat all of them

  4. Yes to all of the above.  Avoid eating the livers of the carnivores, though;  it may contain enough vitamin A to be poison.

If you're going to eat apes, cook thoroughly.  You can catch almost any disease or parasite the ape had.

  5. I believe there are recipes for all these meats in Simoons 1961 classic "Eat Not This Flesh".

Humans are omnivores, and can eat & digest anything that is not poisonous, though "Western" humans generally eschew eating the flesh of carnivores because of its taste.

  6. When you add the phrase "if we needed to" you open it up to almost anything. The only exception would be things like the poisonous part of puffer fish, some frogs & toads, etc.

There's nothing on your list you couldn't eat...provided it didn't eat you first!

  7. 1.NO, 2.NO, 3.NO, 4.NO, 5.NO!!!!
