Can hunch back be corrected?

will doing yoga or Pilates help?Or i have to get a surgery? Are there any side effects of surgery? What surgery would i get?

Yes it can be fixed, fusing of the spine is no longer the only correctional surgery used to straighten your spine, i have a curved spine or scheurmans cyphosis which is a mild hunch-back, just by looking at me you wouldn't know i have a curved spine but because it is starting to give me some lower back pain and some ache down my spine i have to go for surgery.

    the surgery involves the shaving of some of my spinal colm and inserting titanium pins along my spine so as to keep my back straight, when the surgery is complete i will have stretched by at least 4 inches.

    it aon't affect my movement at all and will be expected to be out of work for one month.

  2. Under the age of 60 and not being a female you can correct hunch back with exercise. Hunch back is due to bad posture, however if you have Osteoporosis chances are the vertebra collapse and fuse, so nothing can be done, but that starts over the age of 60. Best of Luck
