  1. WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

Yes, use a sterilized needle and gently push it into the 'bump'. You may need to do this once or twice, this may hurt when the needle goes in, but the pain shouldn't last more than 5mins. It will slightly bleed but not for long. After you've popped it, soak it for around 10mins in warm, salty water.

    AFTERWARDS:

You may find this abit 'disgusting' but trust me, it's worth it. I'd had an ingrown toenail for atleast seven months up to an hour ago. My friends mum came round and popped it for me, I'm so relieved, You wouldn't even notice that only 1hour ago I was in pain. Thanks.

  3. No. If you try it without the anesthetics, it will hurt much! If it grow some flesh outside, it belongs to the hands of a surgeon. It happened to me and I need to see my surgeon. Then I had it operated and he said the the whole toenail in that big toe needs to be removed. He removed it. You might have 4 shots on that day, 2 shots of anti-tetanus on your arms and 2 shots of anesthetics on your toe which is infected. The surgery doesn't take too long. It takes less than 10 minutes.
