My dad Got Me an iPod from some guy he works with about 4 months ago and i lost the charger one night I thought i found it after looking for it for a half hour but alas It was not it. So i plugged it in and noticed it was the wrong one (finding the real one in the drawer) I took it out and found out it wouldn't work I dented some foil part that i cant fix without taking it apart and i dont wanna risk that.

So my question is i dont have a warranty for it can i still send it in for repair?

Will i Be able to pay them to fix it without a warranty?

  1. the warrenty extends from a year after purchase, no matter who purchased it.

so you might be able to get it for free!!

follow the instructions the other person said, and you should be smooth sailing.

  2. Yes, you can send it in and pay to have it fixed.  Just go to apple.com and click the "Support" tab and it will give you the info you need to send it in.  Or, if you live near an Apple store, you can take it into them for repair.
