Can i Take my carpet snake to tasmania?

I live in Qld and iwant to move to tas can i take my coastal carpet snake with me legally?

Im afraid you won't be able to bring your carpet. Tasmania has very strict laws involved with keeping and moving reptiles and only allow native species. No pythons are native to the area.

i own a carpet also and i never thought about that but i would have to say u can i mean if ur able to bring your cats or dogs why not your snake ya know
