Can i add an iphone 3G to a family talk plan?

would i be able to just cancel my current phone and add the iphone to my family talk plan and purchase a data plan for it? would there be an early upgrade fee?

  1. You can but you don't want to. The Family plans don't include Unlimited Data access so you really need to get an iPhone plan.

    My friend found an iPhone a few weeks ago and just added it to her old plan. Her bill was over $1500 this month. And she goes: "all I did was watch a lot of YouTube", lol.
