Sorry, no, you can't. The only way you can play anything remotely close would be to:

A) Mod either a PS2 or PC/MAC version to add custom songs

B) Check out "Frets on Fire"

"FoF" is a free open-source PC game that, while not as graphically appealing as "GH", lets you add your own music with little effort. There are also thousands of songs availible for free download if you look around.
