Can i afford a v8 truck

gas prices will kill ya with the v-8. i have a dodge dakota with a 3.9l v-6. it gets about 18 mpg and has good power for offroading

If ur willing to put $120 a week of gas.Over her its $4.07(went 20 cents down)i put $60 a week

Yeah, if you want to put your whole paycheck in the gas tank.  Not only will the truck cost you a ton to keep in fuel, it's going to be more to insure, register and maintenance is more expensive.  I'd rethink this and lean towards something more fuel efficient and cheaper to insure.
