Can i ask for my baby to be induced?

I'm 37 weeks now is there any chance they will induce the baby for me

Why do you want your baby to be born early? 37 weeks is bordering on being premature.

Unless there's a medical reason for it - NO, they will not induce your baby early for your convenience. Plus labour is more uncomfortable, and more likely to end up with you needing an emergency C-section, if you are induced compared to going into labour naturally. Just don't. You've waited this long, you can wait a few more days.

no, my doctor said most will only induce for a medical emergency earlier than 39 weeks. Your baby is still not considered full term until at LEAST 38 weeks and most doctors would not deliberately put you into labor until 39 weeks at best

as a mother of two i know how miserable you are right now...but try to think of the health of your beautiful baby...it may make it alittle bit easier to bear these last couple weeks...trust me...when your done having them and years pass, you miss the feeling...its true...believe it or not...so keep your chin up...they will only induce for medical reasons...not for comfort...

Nope No Doctor would Unless You Have A Health risk to you or the Baby That would make them have to induce you early.The earliest Doctors will induce for None Health Reasons Is 39 weeks and It is rare to find one who will even then.I was induced With my first at 40 weeks(Health reasons) and It was h**l wait it out.My second i went on my own and it was A lot Better.Inductions are dangerous To You and Your Baby and should only be done for health reasons not just because you are sick of being pregnant.

I don't think that your doc will induce you unless there is a medical reason for him to. I just had my first 4 weeks ago and went onto labor a week early because I went walking each evening. I know how imcomfpryable it is, bit enjoy this time and get lots of rest because once the baby comes life will really change. Hang oloin there!  You are at the end of the race!!!

Babies come when they are ready. 37 weeks is too early, especially if that is an unltrasound dated 37 weeks, bcause its pretty accurate. You made it this far. You can do it! I promise you will not be on CNN as the first woman to be pregnant for two years! LOL It just feels that way!

they'd only doit for medical reasons at this stage

doctors would only induce you if a member of your family is ill/dieing or if you didn't give birth when you are supposed to
