Can i ask my boss how is it my performance are?

i just work at my new place for 1 month, and i want to stay long at that place. and i always wonder how do i do, so can i ask my boss about my performance?will she think i just suck her up? how to say it so that she don't think i just sucking up her?

It is normal to have a performance review early in a new job, then every 6 to 12 months after that.

just say 'i want to touch base on how i'm doing.  is there anything i need to improve on or do differently?  i want to be pro-active in my job performance.'  i'm sure they'll appreciate the positive attitude.

Just ask her, How do you think I am doing?  Please let me know where I can improve.  So what if you are sucking up, you can always learn and improve,
