Question:

Can i attract snakes to my yard???

i love snakes and want to observe them. where i live is an area where people see snakes often but i don't. i want to observe these animals venomous or otherwise.

  1. Snakes basically are after two things in life: food and shelter. Because of this, if you were to encourage the residence of their prey (mice and voles ) as well as plenty of places for shelter like rock piles, firewood piles, and dense brush you'd definitely have snakes moving in. Problem is, I don't think you really want to attract mice to your yard/house because they are pests...but don't worry, chances are they are seldom far...they like human dwellings/fields.   2. your crazy just like my dad was. He used to pick up snakes in church like the movie Prophet with Robert Duvall. He was a Pentecostal preacher, God rest his soul, he was a good daddy, but a little crazy.
