Can i back-up my Itunes library? please help!?

my computer has a bad virus on it and its going to crash. so im just going to put my pictures on a geek-stick and re-format it with the recovery disks. then use the geek-stick to put the pictures ack

but my problem is itunes.

is there anyway i can do the same with my music on there?

(put it on a memory stick)

or is there any other way i can back-up my music?

  1. Move your entire iTunes music folder and your iTunes Library file (Library.xml) to a thumb drive or other storage device. After you have reinstalled everything, move it back to your hard drive, open iTunes and point it to the library file. It will set everything up the way it was before.


  2. well all the music you have on itunes u have on your comp right???

    so if you do you just copy the music to the geek stick or to a cd and just put it back on your comp.... or just copy all your music to the d drive or what you call it..
