  1. Yes you can use a product called Relief Shampoo. It helps with healing and itching. You can buy it at the vets office over the counter. Also if infection starts to be an issue you can use a little Hibiclens surgical scrub ( mixed with the shampoo) You can buy this at Drug Stores like Walgreens it has same ingredients as Prescription Shampoo at vet for skin infections.

Also make sure and treat for fleas with Advantage on a regular basis if cat is allergic to fleas which can cause scabs.

  2. Why is your cat covered in scabs? Take it to the vet.

  3. Is your cat covered in fleas?  Did it get into a fight?  Why is it covered in scabs in the first place?  Go to your vet if you don't know what kind of scabs they are.  If they're scabs from scratching fleas, then get some frontline or a shot for fleas and worms.  If it's an intact male who is an outdoor cat, then he's ALWAYS going to be covered in scratches and scabs from fighting, so get him fixed!  If it's from some sort of a skin disorder, then you won't know unless you take him to the vet!  So don't do the bathing yourself, but take him to the vet to see what the underlying cause is.

  4. Call your cat's vet.  They have special shampoo.
