Can i be 1/2 virgo 1/2 leo?

Question

my birthday is 8/30/85, i was wondering if i could be both, or maybe just one.

every time i read my horoscope, i always read virgo, but over half the time, my life is true to leo? do i not have a recordable future? how am i -what astro sign am i? help im so confused. can i really be a true virgo and just dont want to be? im very organized, strive to be the best, very out spoken, hate routine, but excel in it. very hard worker, i love the outdoors, love dirt, hate messy houses, dirty floors, erogant, selfish, but an active animal activist, loving pet owner, hate sharing, always in control as much as possible, love been group leader. --any suggestions? thanks for your time.

No, you are definitely a Virgo and there are other factors that affect who we become ultimately.  Me and my sister are both Virgos, but we are different.  I am outspoken and make an excellent leader.   My sister is very softspoken and never wants to be in the forefront or made the center of attention.  My confidence is mistaken for arrogance but I am the way I have evolved because of the people I have been blessed to come across who wouldn't let me sit in the back of the classroom or saw something in me that I didn't even see.  I always gravitated towards positive people who did amazing things but my sister didn't.  Even if something scares me, no one knows because I would rather try something than not do it because of fear.  My sister would never do that and is afraid of change.  

I am definitely a Virgo, but I know my life experiences aided in me being who I am today.  So yes you are a Virgo, but other things affected who you ultimately are and by the by, Virgos rock!  Don't let anyone tell you different.

No, sorry dear you're born in Virgo. Now you may have some planets that are in Leo that influence your personality but you are a Virgo. It have been my experience that there is a difference in personalities among the same sign born in different months. So there definitely is a difference between an August Virgo and a September Virgo.

Yep, same as my son.  His birthday is on August 29th.  He's technically a Virgo, but he acts more like a Leo.  See site below for being born on the cusp of these two.
