  1. Did you learn the lesson? You most likely will be asked about it in initial interviews after applying to an Academy before being accepted. As long as they understand you learned from your mistake I think they would allow you to go forward.

I should put a more  politically correct answer as I looked for Arizona to see if the Juvenile record could be held against you and this is what I found: (Link below)

Arizona Peace Officer Standard and Training Board RO-199

Under its authority to prescribe reasonable minimum qualifications for peace officers, the Board is establishing a provision

that enables an otherwise disqualified individual to be appointed if the Board determines that the disqualification

results from a juvenile indiscretion. Under its authority to prescribe minimum training requirements for peace

officers, the Board is requiring that an individual pass a Comprehensive Final Examination to complete the full

authority peace officer basic course. The Board will also amend sections to make them more clear, concise, and

    understandable. Good Luck!

  2. my husbands a cop he said no

  3. more than likely when u turn 18 it should be clean enough

  4. You definitely still have a chance. It just really depends on the department you apply for and the time lapse more often then not on when you were convicted. Some departments like in Dallas will not tolerate any admittance to crimes relating to felonies or the like in any way, regardless of age or time past while other departments (even in the same state) will still accept you as long as you admit to what happened and it all matches up correctly to the paperwork... In some unfortunate cases, there must be a 10 year lapse between when you were convicted to when you apply to be a cop, after that you should be good to go. Good luck!

  5. nope.  they say your juvie records are sealed but when they do a background check it will show.
