  1. how the h**l did you get anxiety in the Air Force. friendly fire?

  2. No because leaving or being separated from the military shows there is something wrong with you.  Most law enforcement agencies are only looking for people with the highest moral character, people they can count on.  Having anxiety will DQ you from any law enforcement job.  You will be placed in very stressful situations and they are looking for people who can handle the pressure.  Having anxiety shows that you will not be able to do that.

  3. I'm sorry, I misread your question.  Law enforcement will deny your application once they find this critical information.  Their application process is longer than the military.  Once you took their mental exam, it'd be all over.   If you were never issued a dd214, then they would never know you were discharged from a service.  Then it amounts to what you tell them.

Ask yourself this.  Am I really ready for this if I couldn't do that?

The rest is valid if your trying to get back in.

First you have to find out if you can even rejoin a military.

Look at the RE code on your dd214, if you have one.  If it's a 4, no you can't.  Other numbers indicate yes or yes, with waivers.

Entry discharges make approving authorities a little nervous.  Almost all cases of psychosocial problems ruin all chances of joining let alone being a law enforcement officer.

  4. If you couldn't handle the Air Force what makes you think you can handle being a cop?  I am not trying to be rude.
