Been off the patch for 5 mons now. Supposed to start my period aug 7(28 days from my last peiord), had unprotected s*x aug 4,5,6. started my peiord on the 6 in the evening (usually i start in the mornings, weird) and it was light. the next day it was pinkish red and kinda heavy. I usually last about 3-4 full days, this past one lasted for 3 days, half way through the 3 rd day it completly stopped. then the next day i spotted. Can this be a sign of pregnancy or just an odd situation from the unprotected s*x?

  1. yes!!! Same thing happend to me!!!!!!! it was irregular and it is only lasted 3 days. i am now 7 weeks pegnant with my 1st child!!!!!!!!

  2. yes, you could have spotting, from implantation of the gg into the uterin wall. Just wait a few more weeks, and take a preggers test... Good luck to you..

BTW, if a positive test result, pick up some prenatle vitamins ASAP and take them every day... this will helpwith your health and babies...

  3. Yes you could be pregnant. It has been long enough now to take a test and have it give you an accurate answer. What are you waiting for!!! Go to the dollar general, buy 2 $4 tests, (or my dollar store has them actually) take both of them and see what it says!! Hope you get the results you want ;)

  4. The best thing for you to do now is to take a pregnancy test. If it is positive, get a doctor on the phone. If it is negative, wait a week and test again.

However, it is not very likely that you could be pregnant from having s*x three days before your expected period, especially if you know you're regular. In normal ovulation, a woman releases an egg about 14 days before her body triggers a period. Once an egg is released, there is really only a two-day window where a normal conception and implantation can occur. After that window, the egg is too far along to be fertilized and develop enough to be ready to implant by the time it reaches your uterus.

I doubt you are pregnant, but if you are, you have defied the odds and I wish you all the best!
