Can i become a dermatologist without any years of residency?

I REALLY want to become a dermatologist but I don't want to graduate by the time I'm 31. I know you have to become a physician first [4 years of undergraduate school and 4 years of medical school] before completing another 5 years in the dermatology division of an accredited university, including three years of residency. but is there like a shortcut or something? typically I don't want to spend more than 8 years in college and maybe this isn't the job for me. any dermatologists out there? was it worth it? do you love your job?

There are a few combined programs out there where you can get combined BS/MD degree in 7 years.  A Yahoo search for combined BS/MD degree will provide you some sites to review.

Dermatology residency is 3 years.  Remember that residents DO get paid - probably mid $40K

There are no shortcuts in medicine--its why its medicine.  The residency sticks.  But you could look into allied fields to dermatology: medical aesthetitician, derm Physician assistant, etc. Medicine is more like a calling--most docs rarely question its worth once done--too much $$$ and time invested.  The time to question that is before you even start the grueling pre-med study. Analyze why you want to be a dermatologist so much--will one of those other shorter careers fit your reasons as well or better?  If you really want to be a dermatologist for the right reasons, you will not question the amount of time learning how to do it.

Have you thought about being an Estheticians-  they are skin care specialists that do things like facials, make up, waxing, etc.. It takes about a year to train for, then you take an exam by the state board.
