I shoot in the low 80s. I have a 12 handicap.

I'm a 13 year old girl. I play from the blue tee (the men's tee). My average drive is 210 yards.

  1. In time....sure you can......depends on you and what level of dedication you put into your quest.

  2. Sounds to me like you've got a shot in a few years. Keep it up!

  3. Start working now and in a few years you could really be mean. Encourage your parent/guardian to get you a coach or sign you up for a amateur league. This will help you develop on and off the course and meet people you are going to need down the road. If you keep playing and working you can make it. My suggestion just so you know, and I would feel bad if I didn't say it, is to go to college. Use your talent at golf and join a team in high school and ace all of your classes. If you play great golf in High School and make great scores in your classes you are a shoo-in for a full ride scholarship for golf. The four years of college will get you a career in whatever you want to fall back on and give you those four extra years of amateur competition and coaching before you turn pro. If you are that good at golf in college you will also get noticed by sponsors and if you get sponsored by anyone big, Nike, Taylormade etc. you earn sponsors exemptions into tournaments. So all in all you should start now, and it certainly works best for you to go to college, the options are in abundance there.
