I am 14, 5 foot 7, 125lbs. I have been playing for 8 years and have been to John Newcombe's camp and was instantly placed in top gun where i won every match pretty easily. I will be a freshman in high school and i am already on varsity at #2, behind a senior. I recently won TAAF state games and qualified for nationals next year. I am in championship level of usta, and i won the first zat i ever played when i was 12. I have a big 1st serve, great 2 handed backhand, awesome forehand, and can play the net well. Do you think i can make it big?

  1. it sounds like your on the right path.  You'll know more once you start high school tennis, its much different, you'll face harder opponents that have different levels, and styles of play.  You probably will start junior tennis as well, which is far more intense then high school tennis.  My suggestion is to try to play college tennis after high school, this will give you a definte answer to whether you can make it big.  I know it sounds like a long time from know, but believe me it will come quickly.

    Good luck on your quest.
