  1. Nop, eye side is one of the  main criteria to become a pilot. But never give up. I am not sure if surgery is accepted BUT who knows, never give up and go toward to your goal like a fighter aircraft and may you get the target.

    good luck

  2. it depends on how much you need to correct for your myopia and astigmatism: commercial pilot medical examinations standards are more stringent than for private pilot purposes.. you should have a look at the CAANZ website and specifically look for eye examination standards..I'm a pilot too and I wear contact lenses t correct for myopia and have no problem at all in passing medical ex for ATPL standards!

then 25 is ok if u wanna become a pilot, there's plenty people older than u!

  3. Unfortunately, no. But if you do some laser stuff to your eyes, you will be able to see and why not become a pilot ?

  4. As long as it's correctable.

See www.virtualflightsurgeon.com or go to the faa.gov site.

  5. yep aslong as you can fix it whit contacts or glasses whatever

  6. i am 50 yrs old.i wear glasses and i still fly.it aint them eyes really, but them passion. As a pilot myself, dont let trivial things like that stop you from doing it.if its eyes thats bugging you, go do something about it..go kill somebody, take his eyes or buy a pair from underground!the next best thing than s*x is fly.old at 25??you r still a baby

  7. Yes you can become a civilian pilot as long as your vision can be adequately corrected by glasses, and no you are not too old.

Read the UK regulations on vision (click the first one):

    http://www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?catid=...

Notice that it says "with or without glasses/correction".

Also take note of the section on the laser surgery.

The US FAA similarly permits correctable vision:

    http://ecfr.gpoaccess.gov/cgi/t/text/tex...

Do get your medical and eye exam before you spend money on training.

  8. Never too old. It just must be corectable to 20/20 they dont care how its done!

  9. nope.. sorry.. one qualifications for a pilot is a 20 - 20 vision
