  1. Careful, federal issues with family status and children discrimination

  2. You do not deny them for having too many kids, you deny them for over occupancy.

A general rule of thumb is 2 per bedroom + 1.

Check your city or towns housing codes & ordinances for occupancy limits.

  3. No, that is illegal, since they do not exceed the legal occupancy limit.

For a 3 bedroom house you can have 2 adults, 4 children PLUS another child under 12 months old.

You need to find a better reason.

  4. 6 people in a two bedroom must be illegal in your area.

Most counties have laws that state that two children of the opposite s*x (over the age of 5) can not share the same bedroom.

  5. Most towns/cities have zoning laws regarding how many people can be in a house vs. the number of bedrooms.  Check your local laws.

  6. you can only have 4 people in a 2 bedroom house the mom dad n 1 child and the second bedroom any more than that you can evict them and a heart beat it is the law every body has to go bye the zoning if they dont then the renter can be fined by the city

  7. There can be a limit on the number of occupants in a house.  It is best to verify the regs with the local housing authority.

  8. Instead of saying- I'm sorry you cannot rent from me because you have too many children..why can't you say there is someone else ahead of you looking at the house and if they fall through I will give you a call back.
