Can i bite and chew foods with braces?

its hard for me to chew and it is uncomfortable

how long will it take to get used to them (i only have the brackets on for 4 days)

i think it depends on what food your eating.

about a week when you get your braces, they will feel normal. just stick to soup, and softer foods for a while. :)

You'll get used to them soon.

It's hard at first, so eat soft foods like applesauce, mashed potatoes, ice cream, pudding, jello, or noodles.

You should be able to eat soon (a few more days to a week), and remember to floss, cause my brother didn't and now his gums grow over his teeth =/
