Question:

Can i boil dried goji berries to make a tea?

Will i get the same antioxidant properties? i just dont know what to do with these, i hate the way they taste.

  1. I don't like the taste either - it's sorta weird to me. I put a few in my hot oatmeal along w/ a few tasty raisins. Also throw some in muffins. My daughter, who's married to an Asian, puts 8 or 10 in a big pot of soup.

    Boiling them is not good. It won't change the taste any and will probably destroy much of the good stuff.


  2. No, boiling won't do it.  And they shouldn't taste bad either.  Do you have a bad batch?  They should taste kinda good. Do you have a good grinder to maybe grind them finer then add a sweetener and sprinkle them on food like cereal?

    Or you good soak them in warm, not boiling water ( and not in a metal pan) and see if you can get them to plump back up so you can then blend them or grind them for a shake or drink that has a sweetener and flavors to cover the taste.
