  1. You may have a problem if you use a different address. You generally have to use the billing address for the credit card. The address is commonly part of the credit card authorization process. Using a different address may cause the card to be rejected.

Why do you need to use a different address? Tickets are now electronic, so there is nothing to send to the traveler.

The first answer is incorrect, at least if you're in the United States. You are never required to show your credit card at check-in. (You can use it as identification if you check in at a kiosk, but it is not a requirement.) I have been flying regularly for nearly 30 years and have never been asked to show my credit card by an airline. This is one of the many travel myths that are commonly posted on this website.

In fact, it is impossible to show the card in many cases. When corporations buy tickets for their business travelers, they frequently use a single credit card for everyone. The travelers don't carry the physical card and cannot show it. A requirement of this sort would mean that the airlines would have to turn away many of their best and most profitable customers.

  2. You wouldn't need to put down the address of the recipient, just her name. Changing the address will s***w up the credit card authorization.

  3. yea.Absolutely u can easily book through http://www.globester.com

  4. the address that you put on the reservation could be for someone else but upon check in she does need to show the credit card used to purchase the ticket. especially if you did the reservation on the airlines website then it will automatically show that credit card required. however if you purchase it on like travelocity or expedia then the passenger need not show the credit card upon checkin in.

basically airlines are doing this as a fraud check just to protect the card holder against misuse and fraud.
