  1. yes you can.  But remember any medication you take will be passed onto the baby - you could try a gargle and spit out for your throat.

  2. yes your fine to breastfeed when your not feeling well just make sure you drink plenty of fluids and get enough rest.

  3. arent you a little old to breastfeed?

  4. Rose Mary, breastfeeding is fantastic if you are feeling unwell as you will be giving your babe all the immunity your body is building and will help to keep your babe well. Usually if they get what you have, they get it mildly and it doesn't last long.

However, be sure you are resting and eating and drinking plenty.

    Take it slow

  5. is ur nipple sore as well?

  6. yes you can

  7. i would think so...

  8. yes, even if you have a cold or the flu you should continue breastfeeding. if you are getting sick your body will be making antibodies days before you "feel" sick and those antibodies will be delivered to your baby which will protect him/her from getting sick. there are very few illnesses that you can get that would require you to stop breastfeeding.

  9. I think so. My friend told me that if you breastfeed when you have things, such as a cold that they baby gets immunities to it, then wont get sick from you because hes already immune.
