Can i bring a backpack on the rides that i go on at the PNE?

I have this backpack that I'm bringing with me to the PNE and I'm just wondering if I'll be allowed to wear it while going on the rides. If I can't then what?

some you can but I dont think you can on drop zone or wooden coaster.  Best to toss it over to the exit area just before you get on and you can collect after the ride.  No one goes in that area while the ride is going so wont get ripped off.... or they have lockers at the PNE too just as you come in on the left side (at least did last year)

I'm guessing the PNE is an amusement park?  I'm not familiar with that particular park -- but at most it depends on the ride.  Many roller coaster rides allow you to hold a bag on top of the restraint or down by your feet.  Some rides however are designed in a fashion where it isn't safe to carry anything on.  The rides that don't allow any carry on items typically have rental lockers nearby or they allow riders to leave their belongings in the station/take off platform.
