Question:

Can i bring a skateboard on a westjet flight as a carryon?

or any flight, i presume its pretty standard information.

  1. Most airlines only allow one or two carry on item per passenger. You have to check that information with your airline. If they only let you carry on carry on item, and you have a backpack and a skateboard, it might be a problem. But sometimes they do won't care. It pretty much depends on how many passengers will be flying with you on that aircraft and if there is enough space in the overhead cabins to hold all their personal belongings.

    But as a skateboard, it is allowed on board as long as you screen it at security.

NO!!!  i went to tn a few years back and was told at the desk it would be fine to bring as carry on, and as i was getting on the plane, i was stopped.  i had to check my board into non carry on luggage. i ended up being the last person on the plane because of this and had to sit by the emergency exit where the seats dont recline.  also the woman sitting next to me vomited into her seat.  it was all bad.  this was before 9-11 so im sure its even tighter security now.  dont make the same mistake i did.  dont try to carry it on, youll regret it.
