Can i bring expensive acne medication in my carry-on bag?

I'm pretty sure both my medications are over 3 oz. and i'm obviously not going to die without them, but i'd rather bring them in my carry-on because they were both over $100 each and i don't want to risk anything happening to them, if i bring it with my labled prescription on it would secuirty still take it?

Because of the scare of liquid explosives... most well all airports are putting restrictions on the amount of liquids that people have. They most likley won't care if its perscription or not. Double check with your airline though. You maybe able to put this medication in your suitcase. If its that expensive see if you can get it insured just in case anything happens to it. If all else fails you can put the medication in a smaller container so that you can keep it with you on the plane or you can try to buy another acne medication to use that is less expensive and of a smaller size just to use for the time being. You can bring them, but get a prescription from your doctor and carry it with you. You must put them in a zip-lock bag. DO NOT REMOVE THEM FROM THEIR ORIGINAL PRESCRIPTION CONTAINER.

If it is over 3 oz I wouldn't risk trying to carry it on.
