  1. are you going to your basic training? or going to baser for what?  what base, what service?

  2. Of course you can bring your laptop on base. Well, unless you're going thru basic training. then no.

  3. contact the post information officer and ask there.

  4. depends on what you are doing with it....most bases have computers for use by anyone with a military id card....if you are taking it to class or live on base then yes you can take it with you...there is no reason laptops are not allowed on base..you just cannot hook yours into their server if its a military office or work area....

  5. depends on your routine as to when you can use computers on base, but they have lots of computers in their library so wont be a problem to use them. in my basic training, we put our suitcases in a special hallway we were told would be locked up, but wasnt, so people had radios, photos, even mobiles on silent through basic training. "do what you have to to get through" was out motto!!!

  6. Yeah bring it, there are places avail to buy wireless internet service on most bases too

  7. Yes u can....but i don't think u should...cause they got computers with internet connection on the base as usual. However u can take it if u want to.

  8. Absolutely. Well, as long as it's not basic training. But anywhere else, yes. Most bases have libraries with regular business hours. Some bases even have morale computers available 24/7.
