I don't think a jet pack that uses actual jet engines has been made, although there are a couple of working strap-on wings.

You probably could build a jet pack, but you have to have the materials (engine, fuel, etc.), know-how, and, most importantly, do it safely. Jet fuel explodes!

I don't know, can you? they have been built , so it is possible for someone to build one (not that they are very effective, flight time is generally very short) but I have no idea if YOU can build one. But if you are asking here, probably not, sorry.

Rocket packs are much easier. They usually run on hydrogen peroxide (100%) and a catalyst bed. The difficulty is not so much in building the rocket pack, as in procuring the hydrogen peroxide. I recommend distilling your own.

You are VERY unlikely to survive this experience!
