Can i butcher a 550 pound hog?

i would like to know if a 550 pound hog would be worth butchering? i have been told she would only be good for sausage.

A 550 pound hog will be no good...probably not even for sausage. A much smaller hog is the way to go, a baby you could call it, around 60-100 lbs is perfect!
