Can i buy a cellphone and put it on my telus contract?

I found a cellphone that i really like but verizon wireless is the only place that has it. I don't like verizon wireless so i was wondering if i buy the phone can i put it onto my telus contract or does the phone have to be bought through telus?

yeah, just put your original SIM card into your new phone.

Unfortanately, you have to have a verizon wireless plan to get a verizon phone....they wont just sell one to you for any old reason and they are locked so you cannot. just switch to verizon

John, Iphones don't work with telus. . . Think sometimes. I don't see a problem with buying a new cell phone and asking to have it put onto your telus contract, I think you can even do it online. Just make sure to get a phone that is CDMA and not GSM
