Can i buy a xbox 360 cd rom?

i was just wondering if i could buy a cd rom for an xbox360 and put it in my self

ok if your taking about the dvd/game drive you can BUT it not as easy as you think you need to get the firmware from the old one which contains a key that match the dvd drive with the mother board if you just swap the drive without doing this then the mother board will not beable to find key on dvd drive and give a error

so here what you need to do

open 360 backup your old firmware from drive

replace with new drive

spoof firmware to be flash to new drive

flash drive with firmware

put evey thing back together

and hope you did not brick the 360 it not easy
