Can i buy eyeglasses?

Question

from claires that have no perscription in them. then take them to the eyeglass place? will they put the perscription in them because i need eyeglasses but i havent found any that i liked. the only ones i found were at claires so will they do it????

It really depends in the depth of the frame. Some fashion glasses lenses are not the same width as nicer frames.

You could buy a pair from Clair's and tale it to a lenscrafters and see if it can be done.

The Clair's frames may not be sturdy enough to protect the lenses and hold them in place for a very long time. They tend to be made out of cheaper materials since they are not meant to last a long time. That's why lenses on cheap glasses pop out easily.

You could end up losing lenses

It is possible as long as the optician is willing to cut the lens for you.

Take a picture of the glasses and ask an optician if he is willing to do a custom job for you.

Make sure you ask first, most opticians make money on the frames, you would have to find a very nice optician, and the frame would have to be big enough and able to be worked with.

You could go to somewhere in the mall like Lens Crafters or Eye Masters, but an eyeglass frame from Claire's won't be very sturdy.

The frames there aren't really to put Rx lenses in...no matter what they tell you.
