  1. 1. You won't be able to open an account because you are a minor. You must be 18 to open a brokerage account.

    2. It is not realistic to expect you can make money in a month by trading with no experience.

    3. Storage centers have seen an increase in use as people are loosing their homes and placing items in storage.

  2. first of all 'you' personally cant trade, but u can get a parent or another responsible adult who understands what you are trying to do and let them invest the money for you. Let me start out by saying that investing stocks are risky. public storage stock symbol is PSA  is currently trading at 80.36 when the market closed today. It lost about 8 dollars in like a month(approximately 88 usd on 5/19/08). go to sharebuilder.com and you can buy shares of a stock or the whole stock. for instance if a stock is trading at 200usd, and you only have a 100usd you can purchase 100usd worth or 50% of 1 share of the stock or whatever percentage you want to. This is good for the smaller investor because you dont have to have the minimal 2000 dollars to open a trading account(most trading brokers ask you to have this). I suggest tech stocks and gold stocks. These stocks have been on the rise and will probably stay that way. But for the kind of time limit you are imposing you are gonna need risky stocks to make a profit. sharebuilder.com has a  research  tool  that will help you with investing your money. good luck.

  3. You can't invest at 14 since you can't legally sign a contract. If you could, it would be very difficult to make any money in a month. Stocks are designed as long term investments based on the growth of the companies value. While storage company stocks may experience a short term rise, you need to look at long term potential in stock purchases.
