  1. You can call the jail and ask. You can also send him a letter.

  2. I am not sure about you calling him, but I know that vice-versa is possible

Earlier this year, my mother got custody of her neices (my cousins of course) after their grandmother died (I think it was their grandmother), they wanted to live with their mother, but their mother was in prison for fradulent use of a credit card, I am not sure if they were able to call their mother, but I do remember that their mother would call constantly, I would never get silence unless I disconnected the main line, whenever we recieved a phone call from the prison, it would be in the form of a collect call, and we were not allowed to answer the call because the charges were outragous, and we were unable to afford it

As for visitation rights, call the prison's main office, or go to the prison and ask

  3. If he has that privledge!

  4. In most cases, no.  You would have to contact the jail and ask for an application to be an approved visitor.

  5. no you cant call him directly. Write him a letter.

  6. You cannot call him. You can write him a letter or accept his collect calls (if he calls you).

You'll have to speak with someone in charge at the jail to determine visitation.

  7. NO. They are not allowed to receive incoming calls. Write him a letter and hope for the best. If he calls you collect, be prepared. Your phone bill will be enormous for that collect call.

  8. You should call the jail and ask them.
