IT is an acoustic epiphone DR-100

I have a soft backback nylon case. I just need it to end up with me in New Mexico, from phoenix, without being checked.

  1. when i flew from buffalo to orlando and with my acoustic and i had a hardback case i carried it  on and it fit into the overhead bins fine, id call to double check but that was less than a year ago so i doubt it will be a problem. goodluck anyways!

ps. i really wouldnt trust other people throwing around my guitar, which is why i decided against checking it.

  2. More than likely you are going to have to check it.  Most airlines require that carry ons fit under the seat or in the overhead bin.

According to Southwest's website you will have to buy an extra ticket to carry it on.

You should call Southwest to make sure:
