Can i cash a cheque dated on Monday today (Saturday)?

Question

I have a cheque in my wallet that i want to put in the bank. Can i put it in the machine today even though it's not today until Monday. Today is Saturday.

You can put it in the ATM, but you don't want to draw on it until Monday  in order to avoid getting in trouble (because money from the other end won't clear until Monday)

nope. You might be able to deposit it in  a machine, but it won't show up in your account til Monday, and if your trying to get cash back from it, it won't work until the check is cleared through the bank.

Depending on your bank, you might get credit for it if you went through the drive through ATM. The bank I am currently with (WAMU) will only credit half the money from the check amount to my account until the whole check clears later on a business day.

Yes it takes 3days to get your money in bank and is saturday nobady working in headoffice until monday
