  1. Yes.

  2. Yes you can. They might charge you commission but you can exchange currency without having a bank account at that bank.

  3. ye but id go to the post office !!!!!

  4. I dont think so, go to the post office they change euro to sterling and vice versa for free, notes only though, they dont change coins...

  5. get them changed at the post office

they charge 0% commission   banks will charge for the service

  6. You don't need an account in any bank to change Euros, the Post Office is easiest, but unless you have a lot of them why not keep them until next time?

  7. yes you can.

  8. Best to find out who is going to europe, and trade at full

commerce rate 1.27 today. You will both save £6/£100

or 6% .That is if the bank sells at 1.2 and buys at 1.35

and no commission in it.If it is a bank that charges 2%

commission, you will save 8% each. That is why most banks

charge no commission they already make 12% on the buy/sell.

  9. yes or at any foreign exchange bureau such as in marks and spencer

  10. You can change money in any bank, but they nearly always charge commission. The post office does it commission free, but their exchange rate for selling Euros back to them is higher than when you buy them, so they still make a profit.

Try to change the amount you need, and if you need more when you're away, get it out of an ATM. They normally charge a few quid, but the exchange rate is good, and you're unlikely to get way too much money that way
